     OK, now that I've made a sad decision that my next platform for
LightWave must be <shudder> an <gag> MSDOS machine, I see in the
paper where IBM is seriously cutting prices on "fleet" machines (but
not to the general public) and how the industry is anticipating a
major price war as new models are released imminentily.

    What's a poor Amigoid/Lightwaver to do?

    In my "Sylvia Porter's Money Book" there is a section that gives
"seasons" for buying various items, like ice-skates in July, and so on.

    Are there predictable months where hardware is priced to move?
